I feel like I should post something, but what...?

I don't have anything new or exciting to post.  Just a few quick thoughts sort of thing...we are planning a vacation sometime soon, don't know where yet, but we will be camping.  Also going to my brother's place soon for "Family Reunion Part Two".

There is as always, plenty of things to be done around here.  Greg started mowing the lawn yesterday, I plan to finish it today.  There are tomatoes to pick and a mega ton of weeds to pull in EVERY garden space!  Breeding season is upcoming and there are things I need to do before that.  The broilers are almost ready to butcher, fresh bird for the freezer.  Then clean out of the pen!

Have done some fishing, but with nothing great to report.  Muskrat Lake does have fish in it, but so far we haven't brought any home.  Last two trips we did catch some, but either too small, or only one or two keeper sized.

I sold two milkers, they are now living in Virginia!  That is a crazy story.  The people made a 17 hour road trip to Michigan to buy goats!  They called me because Dave White told them I had goats for sale.  They called him because the first Michigan stop told them to call Dave.  On the road from Shelby they called, got directions and came by.  The left here with two of my goats, plus the one from Shelby and headed to another Michigan stop and then on to Ohio and Indiana, before heading home!  All the way, stopping and looking and maybe buying goats!  No hotel, no camping, just driving and looking and goating!  Now don't tell me I'm goat crazy...I'm competely NORMAL compared to these nice people.

I still have five goats for sale, a buck, two milkers, and two doe kids from this year.  But selling them is difficult, hay prices have everyone cutting back or not buy!  Buying a horse right now would be good if you are looking...there are a bunch for sale at really low prices!  Don't need another horse, just sayin'.

Well, best get moving.  Greg and I have walked seven out of the last eight days, so don't want to break that string.  Walking is good for us and the dogs!

Isn't this a great picture.  I found it on facebook somewhere and just really love it.
Onward and Upwards.
