Then we headed to Swanson's to do some fence work.
Back home, did journal writing and then off to rake hay. Hay done, chores, packed food and water back to camper for the evening. Relaxing around the campfire.
Monday-Up around 7AM, then breakfast and breaking camp. Back to the house by 11:00, unpack, then chores. While I was out Jenn called, their truck broke down near Clare on their way back home from camping. They need us to come and get the fifth wheel trailer back home. Made a temporary trade, we have their Vue, while they use our truck to go back and bring back their truck on a flat bed trailer.
We were ready to bale hay at 4PM. All done and in the barn. Quick dinner, some TV and Jenn brought our truck back.

Tuesday-7AM and dogs are out. Brought the blog up to date. 11AM and still no breakfast, just got off the computer! I am working on buying semen and having it delivered to ADGA Convention here in Michigan in October.
Brunch and then chores.
Plan for the day is to make salsas for my party tomorrow. Hope there no surprises, would just like a dull week for a change.
Minor change...I just did some more semen tracking down, no surprises, just no work got done!
Okay, so I did get Cajeta on the stove to simmer all day. It was ready to put into jars by evening. I also got the beans soaked and then put in the crock pot to cook overnight.
Wednesday-Happy Birthday to me! Up at 6:30AM, did a little more computer work, then breakfast. Divided the Cajeta into small jars for my guests to take home. Washed milk jugs, and froze three gallons of milk. Chores then party prep.
Party went well, had plenty of food and 10 good friends! Greg ran my Meals route for me.
Greg got home after all the girls had left. He gave me my presents...a five gallon water jug(for camping) and THREE packages of Snow crab legs! Yum!
For dinner we went to Arby's and we stopped at Dunham's on the way home. We bought two folding chairs and two pairs of binoculars and one new Rapala fishing lure...Happy Birthday to us both!
Back home it was chores and time to relax.
September 1, 2011
Thursday-Woke up at 5:45AM and decided to get up and do up the dishes and such from yesterday. Daniella will be here around 7:30. She asked if she could come and spend some time here, before school starts on Tuesday.
I have bread to make for Market and I plan to go to the Fair office and pick up Daniella's pot holder and bracelet she had entered. While out I plan to get Greg's Birthday presents. I didn't have time to do it before his birthday.
There was quite a heavy fog this morning. Temperature is nice and the sky is clear now.
Didn't get the bread made, but did everything else. Chita came around 5:30PM to take Daniella back home. They will be back in the morning.
Spent the evening relaxing. Neighbors brought over a load of hay to put in our barn.
Friday-Up a bit after 6AM. Spent some computer time. Made contact with a friend who is going to do my chores while were on vacation later this month.
Daniella here, had breakfast and then mixed up and shaped the Salt Rising bread. It looks REALLY good and foamy. Should rise well.
Did chores, then got out the fishing equipment to check it over and do inventory.
Had lunch, then put sourdough bread together and set it to rise.
Sat on the porch until the Salt Rising was ready to bake.
Salt Rising is done and Sourdough is in the oven and it is only 7PM!
Daniella has gone and it is HOT HOT HOT! Glad I only have chores to do and take bread out. Porch sitting night again.
Saturday-6AM, bagging and labeling bread. Getting market things together and in the truck. Yogurt smoothie for breakfast and then off to market.
I got my favorite space, right in front of the Museum! Lots of vendors and really busy market. I was sold out of bread and eggs by 11:00! Good day.
Home and no plans to do anything! It is great!
Chores, dinner was sandwiches, and then we watched some football and later..."Mad Max, Thunder Dome", then off to bed.
Another week in the books...Onward and Upwards!
